We had a lot of fun over the last few weeks with the kids we were babysitting. They were all SO sweet to William, and he loved the attention. It was interesting to watch how much chattier he became being surrounded by more people. He repeats a lot, and although not all of it is very clear, he has specific words for different things. He can say "ghost" very clearly, but pumpkin sounds more like "cupcake". Anyway, it's great to be home.
There have been a few highlights over the last few weeks that I've been wanting to post about, but unfortunately I'm not sure where our portable hard drive is that has all the pictures. So they will come shortly, but for now here is some fun news.
Right before we left Danny's brother Spencer and his wife Andrea had their 2nd baby boy, Dallin. Andrea and I hang out a lot, especially because Thomas and William are such good buddies, so it is so fun to go out and visit this sweet little guy. We are SO excited for them. It makes us all the more excited for our sweet baby girl! Pictures to come!

A 2nd highlight was the Touch a Truck event at the U put on by the Junior League. This was truly William heaven. We were there for about 2 hours, during which time we spent atleast half an hour in and around the fire trucks, visited the cement mixer atleast 4 times, sat at the steering wheel of about six semis, explored a school bus and a garbage truck, marveled at the size of the wheels on the ginormous dump truck, and honked as many horns as we could! I think we will definitely have yearly attendance! It was so fun. I loved how all the truck drivers commented something like "I wished they'd done something like this when I was a kid!" I guess it wasn't just little boy heaven. I took tons of pictures and can't wait to put them in a book for William to look at. He is a serious player- concentrates hard as he explores, so I didn't get many pictures of him smiling and looking at me (do I ever? He is so hard!), but as soon as the photographer followed him around for a minute he busted out his cheesiest grins I've ever seen him make. I was excited to see if any of the pictures were posted. Here is the one they chose:

Those are definitely his Lightning McQueen shoes! But we had a blast together. I'll post more pictures soon!
