Thanks to my awesome aunt who works as an ultrasound tech, we got a sneak peak at Baby Young tonight! We are so excited to be having a baby girl! To be completely honest, it's a little scary to think about. I was such a tomboy growing up. What is she going to be like?! How do I do her hair?! I never even do my own hair... is it bad that I'm so excited for the girlie things that come with a baby girl when I refused to wear them myself when I was old enough?
Anyway, we are thrilled and we can't wait to meet her! I'm so excited for all the cute dresses and tutus, fun sewing projects, and for the little tiny fingers and toes, and more than anything to see William be her big brother and to see him with a baby sister.
On a side note, we are babysitting a family while their parents are gone for ... 12 days. 3 down and 9 to go. William is a champ and has done really well, even though I know it's been really hard on him. We walk everywhere downtown. The last few days have been full of errands and car pools! Poor guy has to be ripped away from his toys time after time to get back in the car. But I think it'll be a fun weekend for him. The kids are all so sweet to William and he loves the attention. The youngest, Lilly is so cute. William cried when she had to leave today. He has so much fun with her! Before the parents left, William found a Barbie Jeep in the garage. He was so mad when we had to come inside that the mom said to just bring it in if we needed to. It has been a life saver!
I love the look of pure joy on his face! He has played in this thing almost nonstop since we got here. Notice he's in his jammies. This morning when I got him out of bed the first thing he said was "car? car??" Good thing he could care less about the color of it! It's a jeep and that's all that matters!

Whether or not Leah Jr. wants to wear pink clothes, I know one thing--she'll be a truck load of fun!
Perfect, just like us!

Yay on having a girl! William's face of joy in the photo is epic. I love it.
