A Day at the Cabin

Last weekend William and I joined some of the Young gang up at their cabin up past the Timpanogas (spelling?) Caves. We had such a fun time. I was a little worried about how William would do with the long drive, but he was great. The timing was perfect and he slept the whole way there, and part of the way back, but was pleasant the rest of the way. He is such a good baby!! Andrea and Thomas came up, which made the drive so nice. Thomas was also super good, and it was fun to chat with Andrea the whole time.
After lunch, Natalie and Grandma stayed back with Landon while Grandpa took Kensie, Lincoln, and Jackson on a mini hike. Andrea and I had brought our carriers and joined them.
William didn't last long though. After about twenty minutes he zonked out. I turned him around so he was facing me and he slept the whole hike (not to make it sound like he slept the whole day! He just took his naps at the perfect moments!). This baby carrier has been the best. I definitely recommend it! It's so convenient and easy to use. He didn't wake up at all when I turned him around.
Here is Andrea with cute Thomas. We are a binky loving family. Everything was so green. It was so nice to walk around and soak it all in. I loved when we walked past one of the newer cabins, which had a satellite dish on the roof. Grandpa commented "Looks like they have a dish!" And Jackson, innocently looking around for a plate asked "What dish?"
Jackson is Grandpa's little sidekick!
Grandpa Young helped us find all kinds of treasures. Here is Kensie showing off part of the bird eggshells she found.Kensie is so good with all these little boys! They all love her. I think it was rough to accept that even after all these little babies she is still the only girl, but I don't know what we'd do without her!
Thomas and William are good buds all ready!

Our drooly boy! It doesn't matter how often we cut his fingernails, his poor little face is never without a little scratch or two!

We are looking forward to future trips to the cabin! Hooray for summer!
