Most important is that my little William is 9 months old! I can't believe how fast he's grown. It's so fun to see more and more of his personality come out (and boy oh boy is it coming out!). He is the sweetest boy!
At his checkup he was 28.5 " long (60th percentile) and weighed 18 lbs 5 oz (18th percentile). He's still my tall skinny boy. He has the best smile and the loudest squeal (that he loves to use during the quietest moments of church. At least they are squeals of happiness and not squeals of a sad boy).
He's so fun to play with. He could spend all day in the water, and is setting new splashing records. In the last week he started finding his legs, and now he's not happy unless he's standing up at every chance he gets! He is all over the place. Occasionally he'll get up on his hands and knees, but mostly rolls around and army crawls to where he wants to get to.
And by watching him eat you would never think he's in the 18th percentile for his weight! Yesterday he was finally able to get little crackers into his mouth without help. He loves crackers and those little Gerber puff whatever they are calleds.
And afters:
(notice our cool green alligator no-slip bath mat we got at Ikea)
I couldn't believe how much it changed his face! I don't know if I'll cut it that short again, but at least now it might grow in a little more evenly. I sure love his blond hair!We also lowered his crib and let him play around in there as we were tying the bumper pads back in. He was having the time of his life...

We did end up getting parts of both of those outfits from Janie and Jack. Here is a sneak peak:
What a stud.
Another milestone William has hit in the last few weeks is that he got his first two teeth! The bottom middle two. Here he is showing them off for you:
And finally, here are some of the other Halloween pictures we took at Gardner Village. We had a fun Halloween. I've had some great Halloweens in my past, but this was one of the funnest. It was a blast showing off this cute little guy. No one even seemed to noticed that I didn't dress up.

He had such a blast with these leaves! His hands were filthy (and his mouth as he tried to eat whatever he could get his hands on!).

Halloween also helped us to discover William's sweet tooth (isn't that Halloween's job?). He loves dum dums, and we mistakenly found out that he is not allergic to nuts... they shouldn't put paper wrappers on things like this. They aren't slobber proof!
We also went trick-or-treating at Danny's firm (I'm mad I didn't get a picture there!) and my dad's firm. Poor William had a cold and looks a little stoned in this picture. It was fun to have Ben Andrea and Max in town for Halloween as well. Here's my dad with his two grandsons... a pumpkin and a ghost!

Your son is seriously the cutest thing. Grant will give him a run for his money (in my biased opinion). We made our blog private so send you email address to me and we will add you as readers. kristyhewitt06@gmail.com
